Bermuda / Seersucker

available in 2 colors

Seersucker is very popular in English-speaking countries for its two qualities: it is cool and breathable, which is ideal in summer. In addition, the colours, softened by the white, are as discreet as they are attractive!

  • Upkeep tips

Our clothes are made of high quality fabrics: we advise you to go to the dry cleaner to avoid any disappointment. Cotton, linen and vegetable fibers can be machine washed at 30°C with a gentle spin. Wool and all animal fibers must be dry cleaned! You can iron your clothes without problems, just remember to use a damp cloth for cotton.

The word seersucker can be translated into French as crépon de coton. In fact, the coloured threads are stretched in the loom while the perpendicular threads are inserted in the weft. When the sheet is released, the coloured ribs ripple. This ‘opens up’ the weft of the fabric making it very airy. A must-have for the summer.

The weaver who designed this material is Schofield&Smith, with whom we have worked since ….. . 18th century: Yorkshire is a region renowned for its textiles. Huddersfield, with its particularly pure water needed for finishing, is renowned for the quality of its woollens. 19th Century: The industrial revolution saw the mechanisation of the trades. Many factories flourish in Huddersfield. The Schofield company, respecting the tradition, offers quality fabrics for elegant outfits.

The manufacturer who designed this cup is Formens with whom we have been working since ….. The company was created in 1995 due to the lack of manufacturers in Europe and has allowed us to keep the quality of production as well as a proximity thanks to the knowledge of the French market.

Cotton is not afraid of water and is therefore suitable for the washing machine. However, avoid programmes that are too hot (above 30°) with too strong spinning (1000+ revolutions), preferring gentler programmes to prevent the material from shrinking!
