The Coat

Having a coat made

Over a suit or a fine knit, the overcoat unfailingly brings refined elegance. As a durable piece, it deserves to be conceived with timeless lines — classic, elegant, enduring.

Its length may reflect your style: modern at three-quarter, classic at the knee, or traditional at the calf.

The Classic Cover Coat

A straight overcoat in its purest form: simple, effective, and often the best place to begin.

Cover Coat Style

With visible buttons

An elegant and versatile coat, equally at ease in formal or casual settings.
With a velvet collar, it becomes the classic Chesterfield.
Can be made long or short.
Available in half-canvas or full-canvas construction.
Cover Coat Style

With hidden buttons

A slightly more sophisticated style, with concealed front buttons.
With a velvet collar, it becomes the Chesterfield.
Note: only available in Italian make, fully canvassed and at a higher price point.

The Peak Lapel Cover Coat

A variation of the previous model, featuring peak lapels.

Cover Coat Style

With peak lapels

A slightly bolder alternative to the classic cover coat. Can be made with a velvet collar. Offered in both short and long versions. Available in half-canvas or fully canvassed construction.

The double-breasted coat

A true classic of the English wardrobe, once known as the “British Warm.”

Double-breasted Coat Style

Classic 6x2 Style

A coat that provides warmth and distinction, thanks to its double layer of fabric at the front – combining comfort with a dignified silhouette. Can be made with a velvet collar. Available in short or long lengths. Offered with either half-canvas or full-canvas construction.
Double-breasted Coat Style

6x2 Polo-coat Style

Starting from the traditional double-breasted silhouette with peaked lapels, various details can transform the coat into a polo-coat style: flap patch pockets, a wide back belt (martingale), and turn-back sleeve cuffs. These stylistic additions carry an additional cost.
Offered in both short and long versions. Available with half-canvas or full-canvas construction.

The different pocket options

For the cover coat, the peak-lapel model, and the double-breasted version.

Pockets

Classic

With or without a ticket pocket
Pockets

Slanted

A touch of British flair – with or without a ticket pocket.
The full version is ideal for a Chesterfield coat.
Pockets

Jetted or patch pockets

Jetted pockets allow you to keep your hands warm without the need for gloves.
As for flap patch pockets, they add an appealing sporty touch to the coat.

The Mackintosh

Also known as a raincoat or car coat by our British friends.

Mackintosh Style

With set-in sleeves

The most contemporary take on the Mackintosh – straight-cut and close to the body.
Its two jetted front pockets are zippered for added security, as are the interior pockets.
Constructed without canvas interlining.
Mackintosh Style

With Raglan sleeves

The raglan is a sleeve construction that adds softness and fluidity to the garment’s silhouette. It creates a generous and comfortable overcoat.
When made in wool, this style is known as a Balmacaan.
Please note: available exclusively through our Italian workshop, with full-canvas construction only. This option is more costly.

The Officer Coat

A model inspired by English silhouettes from the Second World War.

Almost a trench-style coat

Buttoned all the way up

This is the warmest and most striking coat we offer.
A double-breasted design with the spirit of a trench coat, featuring wide, dramatic lapels.
When fully buttoned to the top, it evokes the look of British cavalry officer coats.
Please note: this model is available exclusively through our Italian workshop, fully canvassed and at a higher price point.

The Polo Coat

A double-breasted style shaped by history, born on the edges of polo fields.

Polo Coat Style

Classic n°1

A polo coat full of character, featuring all the signature details: patch pockets, turn-back cuffs, a notched lapel that allows the collar to be turned up for neck protection, a back half-belt, and a centre-back inverted pleat.
Constructed without canvas interlining.
Polo Coat Style

Classic n°2 made-in-Italy

A truly elegant polo coat with a subtly 1950s-inspired cut, featuring authentic letterbox pockets.
Please note: this model is available exclusively through our Italian workshop, fully canvassed and at a higher price point.
Available in both long and short versions.
Polo Coat Style

Based on a standard double-breasted coat

Based on the classic double-breasted coat with peaked lapels, several details can be added to evoke a polo coat style: flap patch pockets, a wide back belt (martingale), and turn-back cuffs. These additional features incur a supplementary charge.
Available in both long and short versions.
Available with half-canvas or full-canvas construction.

Example of a classic Cover Coat

Also known as a Chesterfield, made from 100% wool herringbone cloth by Loro Piana.

Example of a double-breasted polo coat

With its turn-back cuffs, made in a wool and cashmere cloth from Holland & Sherry.
