Three Types of Construction

To provide flexibility and adapt to every budget, we offer three levels of quality:

  • traditional half-canvas construction,
  • traditional full-canvas construction,
  • and full-canvas construction with hand-finished details.

These differences lie in the internal structure of the jacket, invisible to the eye — a technical detail essential to understanding what you wear.

Half-Canvas

In half-canvas construction, the front of the jacket is reinforced with a fused interlining, complemented by a stitched chest piece in wool and horsehair. This modern technique recreates the look of traditional canvassing, offering an elegant result at a more accessible price.

Full Canvas

With full-canvas construction, the wool and horsehair chest piece extends over the entire front of the jacket. It gives the lapel its natural roll — the famous rollino — a hallmark of true tailoring elegance.
As the most traditional method, it offers greater breathability and unmatched suppleness.

Hand-Finished

This premium finish takes craftsmanship a step further: refined adjustments during fitting, hand-sewn lining reinforcements, hand-felled edges, and above all, real hand-stitched buttonholes.
The ultimate refinement, designed for true connoisseurs, positioned between made-to-measure and full bespoke.
