Returns and exchanges

The policy below applies only to products purchased on our website (www.scavini.fr). We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products purchased on other websites, purchases made directly in our physical Boutique, or from countries where we do not ship directly. You can view our full return and exchange policy in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, under Article 15 “Right of withdrawal”.

What is the difference between a return and an exchange?

Return = refund

A return refers to the act of sending back one or more items and requesting a refund.

Exchange = size change

An exchange refers to the act of sending back the item and requesting the same item in another size, without requesting a refund.

What are the conditions for returns or exchanges?

You may request a return or an exchange (for size) for any item purchased on the website www.scavini.fr within fourteen (14) days following the receipt of the items.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to items in the following categories:

  • Personalized items*;
  • Over-the-calf socks that do not have their original packaging perfectly sealed.

Please take this into account before placing an order.

* “personalized items” refers to any item that has been altered, in any way (notably: hems, cuffs, waist adjustment, tapering, adding suspender buttons, etc.), performed at the Client’s request, whether the alteration was carried out by the Ready-to-Wear Boutique at the time of the order or by the Client (or a third party) after receiving the order.

Are size exchanges free?

We offer free size exchanges only if you use the REVER service available on our website www.scavini.fr to register and process your exchange. You return the original item using the return label provided by REVER, and we will then ship the new size.

IMPORTANT: an exchange is only possible for the same model and the same color as originally ordered. If you wish to exchange for another model or another color, you must process a return for a refund and then place a new order.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

This depends on the chosen refund method:
• If you request a refund, the return shipping costs are at your expense and are not reimbursed. If you process your return via REVER, the return shipping costs will be automatically deducted from the refunded amount when your return is processed.
• If you request a store credit (in the form of a code to be used on a future order), the return is free of charge.
Important: if you subsequently ask us to convert this store credit into a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Finally, for customers located outside the European Union, we remind you that we do not refund import duties or VAT paid to local authorities at the time of your order’s importation.

How do I return or exchange my order using the REVER return service?

You can return or exchange items purchased on the Scavini website simply via the REVER return service, by following the steps below, as described in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and summarized here.

1. Access the “CREATE A RETURN” page on the website www.scavini.fr (the link is provided below).

Enter your order number and email, then select the item or items you wish to return or exchange, specifying the reason for the return, or, in the case of an exchange, the new size requested.
If you are requesting a refund, please specify whether you wish to receive store credit (in the form of a promotional code to be used on a future order) or a refund to the original payment method.

At the end of this step, you will be able to download your return label (and a pro-forma invoice if you are outside the EU).

2. Prepare your package

Place all items back in their packaging and in the original box. Items must be new, unaltered, unworn, and in perfect condition, accompanied by the original components (hang tags, button bags, hangers, labels, etc.).

3. Ship the package

Affix the return label to the outside of the package, then contact the carrier directly to schedule a pickup.

IMPORTANT: Please be informed that returned items are subject to quality control, in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Sale. If the items are returned in perfect condition, we will accept the return and proceed with the exchange or refund of the total amount paid, after deducting return shipping costs, to the credit card or bank account used for the original purchase.

I do not want to or cannot use the REVER return service to return or exchange my order; how can I return my order?

If you cannot or prefer not to use the REVER return service, please contact our Customer Service in advance:

You may then send your order back via the carrier of your choice, indicating your request (exchange or refund) inside the package, to the following address:

IMPORTANT: if you make an exchange request without using the REVER service, the shipping costs you have incurred with the carrier remain entirely at your expense and cannot be refunded.

Am I responsible if my return package is lost or damaged during transit?

Returns (including via the REVER service) are made at the Client’s risk. You remain responsible for the transport of the returned items until their effective receipt by the Ready-to-Wear Boutique.

Consequently, we recommend using a shipping method with tracking (and, if necessary, insurance) and keeping all proof of drop-off and/or shipping until the package has been successfully received.

Can I return my order in-store?

Yes, items purchased on our website www.scavini.fr can be returned to our Ready-to-wear Boutique, located at 50 Boulevard de la Tour Maubourg, 75007 Paris (France).

We draw your attention to the fact that the refund will be made only via the payment method used during the order; no refund can be made in-store.

We inform you that returned items, including in the case of an in-store return, are subject to the quality control mentioned above. The Ready-to-Wear Boutique reserves the right to refuse the return if the return conditions are not met (item worn, washed, damaged, altered, labels or elements missing, etc.).

I requested a refund in the form of a store credit; can I request a cash refund later?

If you have chosen to be refunded in the form of store credit (a code to be used on a future order), this credit constitutes the refund method you requested and accepted. It is therefore not possible to subsequently request a cash refund simply because you change your mind.
