Discover Scavini knitwear with this turtleneck Sweater. We wanted it to be just like a Scottish sweater: solid & durable. We chose a medium-thick knit. Thick enough to be more robust and warm than usual, thin enough to be comfortably layered with a jacket. It’s made from a very specific wool: the Super Geelong Lambswool, from one of the best spinning mills: Zegna Baruffa.

Geelong Lambswool
- 100% wool
Zegna Baruffa
As Simon Crompton writes on Permanent Style, Super Geelong wool quality is certainly beautiful, but it’s no longer a sign of quality because it’s so widespread. To counter this claim, we’ve decided to source our fibers from Italy’s finest spinner of extra-fine merino, Zegna Baruffa. That’s why we’re so proud of our micro-collection of Super Geelong knitwear. And for those who don’t know what the name means, it’s a very fine quality lambswool from the Geelong area of Australia, also known as super lambswool. The softness of a strong, natural fiber, knitted in a medium/heavy weight, giving our turtleneck pullovers durability and stability like no other. A very small series of beautiful products not to be missed.
Upkeep
Dry cleaning is highly recommended for the wool product. However, it should not be done often: only once a year, or even less! A simple steam ironing at home or at the dry cleaner’s is enough in most cases to remove odors, bacteria and to give the knit a good look.
