At Scavini, we are always happy to work with historic houses with deep-rooted know-how. In 1865, local entrepreneur Carlo Reda founded a woolen mill in Valle Mosso in Piedmont. Just after the First World War, and under the leadership of the Botto Poala brothers, the company experienced a more significant development. Reda becomes an institution of the textile industry both in Italy and abroad. While respecting the traditions and history of the company, the Botto Poala family, which is still at the forefront, continually seeks to offer natural materials in tune with the times, working with mastery in wool, but also in precious blends, wool, silk and linen, or cashmere and wool. Their huge catalog is an ever-renewed pleasure, very useful in the development phases of the collections.

Dry cleaning is highly recommended for wool product. However, it should not be done often: only once a year, or even less! A simple steam ironing at home or at the dry cleaner’s is enough in most cases to remove odours, bacteria and to make the trousers look good again.
